After graduating from university in July 2015, I had started working as a pension’s administrator when I came across Doris IT. Doris offer excellent career opportunities within the IT and Business Industries.
I am currently on my first assignment with a large consumer cooperative as a Project Analyst. I have been placed within the core functions team that looks after the infrastructure for departments such as HR and Finance. As a Project Analyst, my role consists of two parts: A PMO Analyst and a Junior Project Manager. Both roles offer a great variety to my day and are constantly challenging.
Since joining in February 2016 I have supported the project managers to define and scope projects, document processes and have supported the implementation of the new project lifecycle. I have learnt so much about how IT projects are managed and governed and I have had the opportunity to lead two of my own projects including: looking after the budget, coordinating resources, liaising with the vendor and managing risks and dependencies. It has been a challenge but I have support from the Doris mentors and colleagues, whenever I need it.
Most of my spare time is currently taken up with planning for my new house! I also enjoy food (eating out or cooking in) and socialising with friends. Oh and going to lots of concerts!
