I’m a curious person, I love learning new things even if I’ll never need to know them, but they sometimes help when I go quizzing. I like to go to the gym to stay fit and play games when I’m relaxing.
I achieved a 2:1 BSc Computer Forensics (Hons) degree from Liverpool John Moore’s University and now I work for
Doris on assignment at a National Leading Retail and Home Shopping Company.
My role at the company is Service Catalogue Librarian which means I am responsible for the promotion, maintenance and administration of the IT Service Catalogue at a National Leading Retail and Home Shopping Company. The catalogue is a repository for all of the services (individual pieces of code) that exist and it outlines all of the important information about each service as well how these services interact with each other and applications/domains/framework.
I am also a member of SOA Governance (Service Oriented Architecture). This role requires me to organise and attend meetings in order to assess new services that are being developed and determine if they are suitable to enter the catalogue, and ensure that once entered they are documented thoroughly.
I came to Doris straight from university; in fact I hadn’t even graduated yet! Doris made it clear that they wanted enthusiastic young people with a passion for IT to get a foot in the door of the industry and that resonated with me. Doris is great for me because they helped me to go in directions that I hadn’t even considered and they continue to support me along the way.
