My first assignment for Doris was at a National Leading Retail and Home Shopping Company as a Trainee QA Analyst. My day-to-day tasks involved checking on the status of IT projects and ensuring that there was sufficient evidence and documentation to show that the risks of the projects were understood.
Part of my role involved me ensuring that the project did not deviate from its original requirements. It was a position that required an understanding of all of the phases of a project and good communication skills as I had to report to several project managers. I’ve since transferred to working a permanent position with a National Leading Retail and Home Shopping Company using skills (particularly, advanced Excel) acquired through training with Doris.
